Effective M ethod to Im prove Anti·flaking Capacity of
Cover Concrete to Textile

Abstract:In order to im prove the bond performance in the radial direction of the yarns,between the epoxy
resin—impregnated textile and the concrete,sticking sands on the surface of the textile,adding the shortcut polypropylene(PP)fiber into the concrete and hanging U—shaped hooks upon the textile were studied.
The four—point bending tests of thin plate specimens show that the above three methods are all helpful to
improve the adhesive bond in the radial direction of the yarns,and thus the anti—flaking capacity of the COY—
er concrete is enhanced,and finally the bearing capacity of the component is improved. Additionally,the
enhancem ent effect of the textile stuck with fine sands iS superior to that stuck with coarse sands;the
effect is better when the mixing amount of PP fiber is 3 litter lower than 1.0 kg/m。;the bearing capacity of
the specimens can be im proved significantly by hanging U—shaped hooks upon the textile.
